About Wellington
The Village of Wellington is the county's equestrian center. The winter show season runs roughly January through early spring, drawing riders from around the world to show jumping, dressage and polo.
Much of the horse country is inside the village's Equestrian Preserve Area, which has its own land-use rules on lot sizes, barns and commercial equestrian uses.
Well-known equestrian neighborhoods include Palm Beach Point, Grand Prix Village, Saddle Trail Park, Mallet Hill and Southfields. Each varies in lot size, ring and arena access, and distance to the show grounds.
For dated market figures, see the Palm Beach Index markets page when available, or the county Index desk. We do not invent city medians here.
